The ideal mix to attract ladybirds and pollinating beetles – which are super important to our garden ecosystems.
Many beetles are important pollinators some of which pollinated the first flowers 140 million years ago at the time of dinosaurs.
Flowers in the Carrot or Umbellifer family (Apiaceae), and those with multiple flower heads, seem to be particularly attractive – making this mix of flowers perfect for beetles.
Seedball - Beetle Mix
1 tin of Beetle Mix contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).
Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
