As well as a gardening author and speaker, Maureen is also a keen oenophile. So much so that when she was working for a local wine company, she achieved Level 3 in Wine at the
Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in London.
She went on to become a qualified Educator and taught Levels 1 and 2 of the WSET Wine Courses.
Maureen does occasional WINE TASTINGS at Holden Clough Nurseries.
The first for 2026 is A Taste of Italian Wine on Sunday, 1st March.
